Team Kimberlin Post of the Day

One thing that almost always caused a boost in popcorn sales was a good Feldtdown, a series of tweet sin which Bill Schmalfeldt flailed around trying to spin some new narrative to replace a previous one that had failed spectacularly. Schmalfeldt had ruined his passenger side tires by running them against a curb and tried to claim that they had been slashed. The TKPOTD for six years ago today took a look at the Cabin Boy’s™ abortive attempt to find a replacement for his tire vandalism story.

After making the disappointing discovery that his SUV did not come equipped with run-flat tires, the Cabin Boy™ has rebranded and is flailing around for something new to stir up.Hallucinatory hallucinators gotta hallucinate.

Rusted fenders, flat tires, a busted CV joints, and a blown transmission.

And karma.

Team Kimberlin Post of the Day

This Thanksgiving Day, I followed my usual practice of giving Team Kimberlin a day off. Eight years ago today we saw the Day Off Cancelled.

* * * * *

I was going to give Team Kimberlin a day off for Thanksgiving, but circumstances alter cases. I went to bed very early last night, so the call that came in at 8:52 went to voicemail. I didn’t listen to it until I was drinking my coffee this morning.

Team Kimberlin are a bunch of cowards. I’ve been pointing that out since 2012. Threats and insults sent from spoofed IPs, sock puppetry on Twitter, and harassing phone calls sent from spoofed numbers are how these gutless wonders engage those of us who speak and write about them. (Note: It’s interesting that they use the phone harassment quite a bit here in Maryland which one of the states that does not allow voiceprint evidence to be used in court. OTOH, it can be admissible in federal court.)

Last night’s call was a real prize. I doubt that the person whose voice is on the call would actually show up at Hoge Manor for dinner today. He knows what the consequences would be, and, in spite of his ranting about cowards on Twitter, he doesn’t have the audacity required.

According to the caller ID data, the number spoofed belongs to someone I’ve never heard of in Columbia, Maryland and who happens to have a number on the same 596- exchange as my cell phone. Several other recent harassing calls have come from random 596- numbers. Other calls have IDed as from local Carroll County phones, including county government agencies. (Suggestions for Team Kimberlin: You might want to verify whose numbers you’re using. You also might want to google the name Joseph Curran.)

Team Kimberlin should consider these words from George Orwell: Do remember that dishonesty and cowardice always have to be paid for.

Team Kimberlin, and Brett Kimberlin in particular, have been deadbeats in paying off their debts. Interest, both financial and karmic, is accruing.

Team Kimberlin Post of the Day

IIRC, all of the members of Team Kimberlin claim to be atheists. This post from eight years ago today, No, It’s Not Just an Eastern Concept, was about one of their attempts to base an argument on a religious concept.

Don’t be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let’s do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.

—Galatians 6:7 … 10

Team Kimberlin also seems to have a continuing problem with Exodus 20:16—

Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

Joe’s Hands

Philip Klein has a post over at the Washington Examiner that takes a look at Joe Biden’s behavior during the Clarence Thomas hearings in 1991. Biden was chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee overseeing the confirmation process of the nomination of Thomas to replace Thurgood Marshall on the Supreme Court. Klein’s uses Thomas’ 2007 autobiography, My Grandfather’s Son, as the basis of his post. From that point of view, Biden’s behavior might best be described as two-faced backstabbing.

Part of Biden’s quasi-defense of his groping has been that standards of behavior have evolved. What was acceptable during his early years is no longer permissible. In a half-hearted mea culpa, he says he should do better now.

The standard under which Thomas was challenged involved making remarks to Anita Hill that made her uncomfortable. There was no physical contact. Just words. Unproven words. He said/she said “evidence.” That seems to me to be a much stricter standard than the documented complaints against Biden which involve unwanted touching captured in images and video. IANAL, but isn’t that technically the crime of battery?

It may be that the real law Biden has violated is the Law of Karma, and he’s now experiencing his own high tech lynching (to borrow a phrase from Justice Thomas) at the hands of the feminists because he might get in the way of a women being nominated in 2020.

You reap what you sow, Joe.

UPDATE—My podcasting partner Stacy McCain has further thoughts on how Biden’s past is being used against him because he no longer serves The Narrative.

Team Kimberlin Post of the Day

This appeared in my Twitter Notifications yesterday—I went over to MySpace (yes, it’s still on the web) and checked out the Op-Critical (Brett’s most recent band) songs posted there. While I was able to see the web pages for them, I couldn’t get any of them to play. All were posted during the 2003 to 2012 period supposed to be affected.

BTW, the times played listed for every one other of the songs I checked were all the same. Karma seems to be catching up with The Dread Deadbeat Performer Kimberlin.
