Team Kimberlin Post of the Day

There’s been a bit of growth in Brett Kimberlin’s online footprint. The server in Holland that has been hosting his offshore sites supports five domains. Here they are—

beitbartunmasked dot com

empr dot media

greencasamaryland dot org

kelsiekimberlin dot com

itstime2020 dot org

The DONATE button works at itstime2020 dot org, and the DONATE button at protectourelections dot org now links to the itstime2020 donation account.

Oh, and there’s a Twitter account too!Note that the Twitter account is at least a month-and-a-half old and that, as of 9pm ET yesterday, it still had no followers.

It kinda looks like yet another attempt by Brett Kimberlin to be a player is failing.

Team Kimberlin Post of the Day

In 2012, the Kimberlin-related web domains were being hosted on an offshore server. Since then, they’ve been moved around to various onshore and offshore hosts, and some of the moves seem to have been triggered by reporting on the sites’ activities here at Hogewash!. Not all of the moves have been well executed. The TKPOTD for seven years ago today was part of this blog’s coverage of a set of hasty changes made after I began reporting on a site called globalpharma dot biz.

* * * * *

It’s been a couple of days since normal access to the Kimberlin-related website hosted in the U. S. went down. It’s been possible to access the sites part of the time using anonymous browsers, but that has often been flaky.

I suppose that when the cleanup is complete, we will at least see the sites with Donation buttons reappear.

* * * * *

At one time, there were almost two dozen Kimberlin-related websites running at the same time. Now, there are only a few unmaintained zombie sites such as breitbartunmasked dot com and jtmp dot org. greencasamaryland had a minor bit of maintenance when it was moved offshore some months ago. protectourelections dot org hasn’t had any new content since February. More telling, the donate page is gone from jtmp dot org, and the donate page is empty at protectourelections dot org. In fact, the only Kimberlin-related site with functioning donation mechanisms is empr dot media, an English-language Ukrainian news site which appears to have ties to activists who were involved in the alleged Ukrainian attempt at interfering in the 2016 Election. BTW, the not-for-profit legal entity formerly know as Velvet Revolution US was renamed Protect Our Elections/EMPR Inc. in 2017 and had it’s 501(c)(4) tax-exemption revoked by the IRS is in 2019.

Hmmmmm.

Oh, and there’s more IRS-related news coming. Tune in tomorrow.

A couple of posts from three years ago today are at one end of an interesting thread that runs to the present. One post was titled DMCA LULZ Du Jour and the other was the TKPOTD for that date. Here’s the first post.

* * * * *

I received this email from WordPress yesterday afternoon—

IIRC, all of the images that the Cabin Boy™ bitches about in his DMCA notice were published on Twitter. That gives other Twitter users a royalty-free license to republish them. Now, I don’t know whether all of the commenters involved have Twitter accounts, but even use by someone who isn’t a Twitter user or use of an image not published on Twitter would probably be covered by Fair Use as noted in Twitter’s email.

BTW, it was a righteous DMCA notice concerning an image that the Cabin Boy™ foolishly used that forced Breitbart Unmasked Bunny Billy Boy Unread to flee to an off-shore server.

Failing failures gotta fail.

That day’s TKPOTD was also about that off-shore server.

Here’s some fun factoids about the Interwebz—That’s the complete list of the web domains using xeonhosting dot net for a nameserver as of 21:30 UTC yesterday. I’ll leave it to the Gentle Reader to note anything else these domains might have in common.

Here are the domains hosted on that off-shore server now—

breitbartunmasked dot com
empr dot media
greencasamaryland dot org

Once again, I’ll leave it to the Gentle Reader to note anything else these domains might have in common.

Brett Kimberlin began his campaign of lawfare against bloggers in a vain attempt at brass knuckles reputation management. In the process, he lost control of his online reputation. A few years ago, he had over a dozen active websites promoting his various … um … causes, many with active Donate buttons. Yesterday evening, I took a look at his remaining sites. His domain with the most traffic is breitbartunmasked dot com, a site that hasn’t had any new material for almost a year-and-a-halfe and which is clearly deteriorating from lack of maintenance.Here are the world popularity rankings for The Dread Deadbeat Publisher Kimberlin’s web domains—

brietbartunmasked dot com 2,867,675
protectourelections dot org 8,369,125
greencasamaryland dot org 10,082,735
empr dot media 10,818,661
jtmp dot org 11,183,078

All his web presence is receding as I have foreseen.

Team Kimberlin Post of the Day

Yesterday’s TKPOTD was about one of the connections between Brett Kimberlin and the Clintons. The TKPOTD from four years ago took note of another.

* * * * *

Here’s another interesting Kimberlin connection.

One of the early donors to Velvet Revolution was Harriet Crosby. Ms. Crosby, who is not actually Kimberlin’s aunt in spite of the rumor to the contrary, has been active in leftwing causes. In 1983, she cofounded the Institute for Soviet American Relations which has now been renamed the Institute for Social Action and Renewal. She is on the board of the Institute of Noetic Sciences, a not-for-profit engaged in the study and promotion of pseudoscience such as psychic abilities, psychokinesis, and alternative healing. She is on the board of Friends of the Earth, and spent five years working on environmental issue on the Clinton White House staff.

The Justice Through Music Project/Velvet Revolution office space is in a bungalow that Ms. Crosby owned and subsequently transferred to the HMC Trust. The Green Casa Maryland demonstration house is being built on a lot two doors up the street from the JMTP office. The lot is owned by the HMC Trust.

The Gentle Reader may remember that Velvet Revolution’s name has been changed to Protect Our Elections/EMPR and that Team Kimberlin member Matt Osborne has been associated with a fake Russian bot scam.

Hmmm.
