Team Kimberlin Post of the Day

Yesterday, I reported that the jtmp dot org website is back in operation and being kept more or less up to date. The same is true of the protectourelections dot org site.

Of course, the most important page supporting the grift is the DONATE page. It provides a link via Authorize dot Net to an EMPR account.Several years ago, Brett Kimberlin changed the corporate name of Velvet Revolution US to Protect Our Elections/EMPR Inc. One of the websites that entity operates is empr dot media, an English-language Ukrainian news/propaganda site. At best, POE donations going to EMPR would indicate that funds for “protecting” American election integrity are being commingled with funds supporting Ukrainian propaganda.

At worst … well, consider this information found at the top of the site’s ABOUT page—The second sentence is not true. Protect Our Elections has never been considered an 501(c)(3) entity by the IRS. At one time, it was registered under 501(c)(4), but that classification was revoked by the IRS.

I can understand why someone might believe something less than honest is a foot in an operation run by a convicted perjurer.

Team Kimberlin Post of the Day

Once in a while, the Kimberlin EMPR Media website gets a sharp bump in traffic when I take a look at it. Last night, I read a recent post in the “Analytics” section a claim that “Putin planted and managed in the White House for four years – Donald J. Trump.” The post was written by Alexandra Chalupa who also posted it at Substack on 8 December, well after the recent indictments of Michael Sussmann and Igor Danchenko, but Ms. Chalupa is still trying to peddle the lies behind the Russia Collusion Hoax. In 2016, she was involved in Democrat activities related to the Russia/Ukraine/Trump spin campaign. She was later involved at least tangentially in Michale Avenatti’s abortive presidential campaign feelers.

On her Substack page she describes herself as “[b]lamed by the Kremlin and GOP for the Russia probe; falsely accused of working with Ukraine to “sabotage” Trump while Trump worked with Putin to sabotage the U.S.”

I don’t believe those accusations are false.

Well, it looks as if Team Kimberlin has figured which one their active websites has the best following. The global popularity ratings of the English language Ukrainian news site empr dot media and itstime2020 dot org are 6,164,010 and 14,338,928 respectively. Yesterday evening, this opinion piece appeared on the EuroMaidan PR website.

I’m not making this up, you know.

Russia has a long history of using assassination to effect its geopolitical goals, especially around elections. Although there have been no specific public threats by Russia to assassinate any American, including Mr. Biden, security officials in the United States would be foolish and naïve not to consider this very real possibility based on Russia’s recent use of poisons and assassinations. Indeed, members of the Russian Duma and commentators on Kremlin state media outlets have stated recently that the only way Donald Trump can win is if something happens to Joe Biden.

The piece engages in speculation that the Russians might try to assassinate Biden as a way of insuring that Trump wins the election, implying that could be a reason for Biden’s Secret Service detail to be keeping him in the basement.

This may be the most outlandish of all of Kimberlin’s false narratives.

Here are some interesting data points—

Brett Kimberlin changed the name of his 501(c)(4) not-for-profit from VelvetRevolution.US to Protect Our Elections/EMPR Inc.

There is a web domain called empr dot media that purports to be the “#1 independent citizen media about Ukraine.”

At the bottom of the  empr dot media home page, there’s some greyed-out fine print which begins, ” This website developed and runs on donations received from JTMP (US), …”

Brett Kimberlin’s 501(c)(3) not-for-profit is called Justice Through Music Project and operates a website called jtmp dot org.

The empr dot media website is one of four domains hosted on the same server as breitbartunmasked dot com. The other two domains on that server are breitbitnews dot com (one of Bill Schmalfeldt’s abandoned sites) and xeonhosting dot net (the service provider).

The Gentle Reader may draw whatever conclusion he will from these facts.
