Unraveling

Much has been made (for example: here, here, and here) about Roger Cohen’s recent NYT piece, The Great Unraveling. One senses that Mr. Cohen is beginning to engage in crimethink. If this continues, he will undoubtedly be approached by O’Brien and, soon thereafter, find himself in Room 101.

UPDATE—Danette Clark has this post up about a website promoting the “culturally responsive” teaching of math, whose advocates believe that

the idea that math is neutral, rational, and logical is a myth and the premise that 2 + 2 = 4 is “naive.”

We’ve heard that before.

“Two and two are four.”
