I’m Not Making This Up, You Know

The Daily Mail reports a child sex abuse center at Johns Hopkins University has hired a trans professor, who was forced to resign from Virginia school for defending pedophiles as “minor attracted persons.” Allyn Walker will start work as a postdoctoral fellow for the school later this month at a center aimed at preventing child sexual abuse.

Forget it, Gentle Reader. It’s Baltimore.

Team Kimberlin Post of the Day

Here’s the TKPOTD from seven years ago today. It deals with one of the most disgusting episodes in The Saga of The Dread Deadbeat Pirate Pro-Se Kimberlin.

* * * * *

I’ve been listening to the courtroom audio recordings as part of my preparation for the next part of my Kimberlin v. Walker, et al. in Review series. Since those recording are used to product the trial transcript, they include the conversations between the judge and counsels at the bench. I could not hear them in the courtroom because a noise source is turned on by the judge to mask the conversations. Thursday evening was the first time that I became aware of the following:

Brett Kimberlin called his older daughter as a witness. He did so at the end of the presentation of his case. He tried to do so as his first witness, but our lawyer objected. During the interchange at the bench, The Dread Pro-Se Kimberlin said that he wanted her to testify to various things which the judge felt were inadmissible because her testimony would be hearsay. TDPK also said he wanted her to testify to the fact that he had not done anything untoward with her. That would have been admissible, but my lawyer agreed that we would stipulate that so there was no reason for her to be called. During the conference at the bench, Judge Johnson remarked,

To put your 15 year old daughter—talk about —talk about harm—to put a 15 year old kid in a courtroom in front of a jury and ask her questions about pedophilia!

Just before he called her, the judge called the counsel up to the bench and tried one more time to dissuade TDPK from calling his daughter.

THE COURT: You know the witness you really need?

KIMBERLIN: Huh?

THE COURT: Is your wife here?

KIMBERLIN: She’s, she’s packing. We’re leaving on vacation tomorrow—

THE COURT: Is she gonna testify? See, that’s —if she were going to testify, that would be one thing, but a 15 year old?

TDPK put her on the stand any way.

* * * * *

I have no words adequate to express my contempt.

Who’s Watching Who?

Greta Thunberg, the current poster child for the Climate Change Requires Socialism movement, made a speech at the UN. Here’s an except, presented with fisking.

My message is that we’ll be watching you.

<fisking>I’ll get back to this later.</fisking>

This is all wrong, I shouldn’t be up here, I should be back in school on the other side of the ocean.

<fisking>This is the one sensible thing she says. Of course, if the school she attended in Sweden actually teaches the distorted worldview she believes, it has done more harm than good.</fisking>

Yet, you all come to us young people for hope, how dare you.

<fisking>She’s addressing this question to the wrong people. AFAIK, the only people who look too Ms. Thunberg and her children’s crusade colleagues are leftist warmmongers (not misspelled) who are exploiting her. How dare they? Well, exploiting her is simple one of the whatever-means-necessary to advance their cause.</fisking>

You have stolen my dreams and my childhood with your empty words and yet I’m one of the lucky ones.

<fisking>Again, she address the wrong audience. The Real World isn’t the source of the empty words that have been poured into her head.<fisking>

People are suffering, people are dying.

<fisking>Where? Why do Central Americans come north rather than go south to the socialist paradise in Venezuela? Why is there no mass migration from Africa to Russia? Why aren’t people fleeing from Hong Kong to the mainland?</fisking>

Entire ecosystems are collapsing.

<fisking>Which ones? The ecosystem that supported malaria, which was on the point of collapse, is flourishing again.</fisking>

We are in the beginning of a mass extinction …

<fisking>Not every mass extinction is a bad thing. Consider, the smallpox virus …</fisking>

… and all you can talk about is money and fairytales of eternal economic growth.

<fisking>It’s economic growth over the past centuries that has enabled the world’s poor to stop cutting down trees to stay warm in the winter. It’s economic growth over the past few decades that funded the reductions in childhood mortality. It’s the fairytale of socialist top-down planning that caused the ecological devastation of the Aral Sea.</fisking>

Now, to get back to who’s watching who … Ms. Thunberg would do well to carefully watch all of us. She should carefully note who is flying about in private jets and who has more modest carbon footprints. She should carefully watch which nations are making actual progress in cleaning up and maintain the environment and which are the major polluters. Of course, that doesn’t seem likely unless she can break away from her handlers and exploiters.

Team Kimberlin Post of the Day

Yesterday’s TKPOTD dealt with one the more amusing incidents during the Kimberlin v. Walker, et al. nuisance LOLsuit. I noted in that post that the trial judge bent over backwards to treat Kimberlin fairly. However, The Dread Deadbeat Pro-Se Kimberlin finally pushed too far when he put his wife’s elder daughter on the stand. The TKPOTD from five years ago reports what happened. I was not amused.

* * * * *

Brett Kimberlin is not a good listener. This exchange is from one of the bench conferences during the Kimberlin v. Walker, et al. nuisance lawsuit. Judge Johnson was trying to explain to The Dread Pro-Se Kimberlin about hearsay testimony from the Kimberlin daughter about things she did not witness.

THE COURT: — assume all of that is true, what does this 15-year old have to do with that?

MR. KIMBERLIN: Because she was harmed. She’s been harmed. She’s been run out of two schools and —

THE COURT: She’s not a party.

MR. KIMBERLIN: And they have defamed her. They have —

THE COURT: She’s not a party.

MR. KIMBERLIN: I know, but they have gone on her, she’s a very accomplished musician. They have gone on her websites. They have attacked reporters —

THE COURT: I don’t disagree with any of that, but she is not a party.

MR. KIMBERLIN: It’s not that she’s a party. They are using the pedophilia against me, against her and they’re doing it to harm me.

THE COURT: Sir, but you’ve got to understand something. We have rules here. You can’t just bring people in to just testify when they A, they didn’t witness anything that they’re competent to testify about and B, she is not a party to this lawsuit.

Judge Johnson seemed to care more for Miss Kimberlin that TDPK did.

THE COURT: But see what I’m trying to avoid is having this little girl come up here, objection sustained, objection sustained, objection sustained. And then having, putting her through that and having nothing really come of it. She can testify to —

TDPK put her on the stand any way, resulting in the following objections to questions or testimony that were not allowed by the rules of evidence.

MR. OSTRONIC: Objection.
THE COURT: Sustained.

MR. OSTRONIC: Objection.
THE COURT: To him leading the witness, sustained.

MR. OSTRONIC: Objection.
THE COURT: Sustained.

MR. OSTRONIC: Objection.
THE WITNESS: And I know —
THE COURT: Objection is sustained.

MR. OSTRONIC: Objection.
THE COURT: Overruled.

MR. OSTRONIC: Objection.
THE COURT: Sustained.

MR. OSTRONIC: Objection.
THE COURT: Sustained. Counsel, sir, stop leading the witness.

MR. OSTRONIC: Objection, Your Honor.
THE COURT: Come up here.
[Bench Conference]
THE COURT: Sustained.

MR. OSTRONIC: Objection.
THE COURT: Has your mom ever done anything hurtful to you? Sustained.

MR. OSTRONIC: Objection.
THE COURT: Sustained.

MR. OSTRONIC: Objection.
THE COURT: Sustained.

MR. OSTRONIC: Objection, Your Honor.
THE COURT: Sustained.

MR. OSTRONIC: Objection.
MR. KIMBERLIN: By these defendants?
MR. OSTRONIC: Objection.
THE COURT: I will sustain the objection in that this young lady is not a party to this case. She did not sue these men. Or you didn’t sue them in her name which would have to be the case. If a minor child is bringing the case it would have to be brought by her Next Best Friend who is generally the parent. She is not a party in this case.

MR. OSTRONIC: Objection.
THE COURT: Sustained.

MR. OSTRONIC: Objection.
MR. KIMBERLIN: — to have sleepovers —
MR. OSTRONIC: Objection.
MR. KIMBERLIN: — or come to the house or be around you —
THE COURT: Sustained.
MR. KIMBERLIN: — because of —
THE COURT: Absolutely hearsay.

MR. OSTRONIC: Objection.
THE COURT: She can answer, overruled.

MR. OSTRONIC: Objection.
THE COURT: Hold on, anything else? No, you don’t just get to keep going. You have to ask another question.

MR. OSTRONIC: Objection.
THE COURT: Sustained.

MR. OSTRONIC: Objection.
THE COURT: Sustained. Sir, you’re going way off base.

MR. OSTRONIC: Objection.
THE COURT: You need to do whatever you need to do with admissible evidence pursuant to the rules of evidence and to the law. And I’ve allowed you some, I’ve given you a long leash.
MR. KIMBERLIN: You have and I appreciate it.
THE COURT: And let you run pretty far out there. But I’m now pulling you back in.

MR. OSTRONIC: Objection.
THE COURT: Sustained.
MR. KIMBERLIN: Is it affecting —
THE COURT: Sustained.
MR. KIMBERLIN: No further questions.

I cannot find the words to adequately express my disgust with someone who would needlessly inflict that on a child.

* * * * *

It’s been over five years since that trial, and my disgust and anger over what Brett Kimberlin did to that young girl has not abated one bit.

Tar! Feathers! (Again)

This zero-tolerance lunacy is getting old. Another Maryland school system is inflicting a grossly inappropriate penalty on a child, a 5 year old kid who has an orange-tipped cap pistol in his back pack.

The Calvert County Schools will not expunge the record of the child’s suspension. This after school officials questioned him for two hours before calling his mother.
