Punching Back

Nicholas Sandmann, the high school student from Covington, Kentucky, at the center of an incident at the Lincoln Memorial has filed a defamation lawsuit against the Washington Post, claiming the newspaper “vilified” him because he is white.

The lawsuit seeks $250 million in damages, the amount Jeff Bezos paid for the Post in 2013.

Stay tuned.

Defamation Thrives in Derpness.

UPDATE—The complaint can be read here.

Team Kimberlin Post of the Day

As this Footnote Du Jour from two years ago today reminds us, sometimes what Team Kimberlin fails to say is more important than their lies.

* * * * *

The Gentle Reader may wish to take note that the Cabin Boy™ has never denied that he described some of his audio sketches as “probably not” pornographic.

* * * * *

If Schmalfeldt were ever to offer odds that his audio sketches weren’t porn, I can image that he would have plenty of takers if they thought he would pay off.

Team Kimberlin Post of the Day

I suspect one of the reasons that Bill Schmalfeldt has seen a great deal of turnover in his attempts at a career in journalism is his willingness to avoid the facts if they get in the way of his narrative du jour. The Prevarication Du Jour that originally ran five years ago today shows how he refused to cite any factual evidence to support a story he published that alleged that I had pocketed the money donated to the fund set up to pay for Tetyana Kimberlin’s legal counsel when she was estranged from her husband and seeking custody of her children.

* * * * *

WMS20131031157ZBill Schmalfeldt has, of course, guessed wrong. He is making an assertion without offering any evidence. It is not my obligation to disprove his fantasy. He said that I committed a particular act with no evidence to support his story. He is on the hook to prove he isn’t lying.

He can’t. But let’s pretend for a moment that he can. OK, for every unrefunded donation to Tetyana’s Fund (other than mine) that Schmalfeldt can prove, I will refund that donation and match it ten-for-one with a donation to the National Parkinson Foundation.

It’s time for the Cabin Boy to put up or shut up.

UPDATE—The Cabin Boy says that he will stick by his story.WMS201311032001ZFine. He may do so, but the Gentle Reader is also free to take notice of the fact that he offers no evidence to support his story.

So I will leave it at this. Bill Schmalfeldt, who has a long history of making unsupported false accusations, has made another accusation completely unsupported by any evidence. I, on the other hand, have published what I can without breaching the confidentiality promised to donors. People will believe what they will.

I seriously doubt that any responsible person who honestly weighs the evidence will believe a proven liar like Bill Schmalfeldt.

UPDATE 2—I’ve decided that Stacy McCain and Ken White are right. The Cabin Boy is a deranged cyberstalker and a demented freak.

* * * * *

Yeah, McCain and White don’t agree on much, but they both agree on Bill Schmalfeldt, even if they phrase their descriptions differently.

Team Kimberlin Post of the Day

Yesterday’s TKPOTD was about Brett Kimberlin’s web footprint on one particular server. That post resulted in a whiny screed from the Cabin Boy™ at Breitbart Unmasked Bunny Billy Boy Unread that assumed that my TKPOTD post was challenging BU to a “Dick Measuring” contest. While BU is mentioned in passing, yesterday’s post isn’t about that website at all. The BU post is another shining example of the Cabin Boy’s™ poor reading comprehension.

The Cabin Boy’s™ post also displays Team Kimberlin’s insecurity, stating that BU would prefer to keep their zippers up. That’s quite understandable.

Team Kimberlin Post of the Day

Given the poor reading comprehension skills of the site’s GS-13 Editor, it’s not surprising that Breitbart Unmasked Bunny Bill Boy Unread would get the facts wrong and tweet this:bu201702010109zpopcorn4bkI don’t intend to quit discussing Breitbart Unmasked Bunny Bill Boy Unread. I will keep discussing them, but in the context of making fun of them. Nothing the Cabin Boy™ edits can be taken seriously anymore.

Dead Horse Du Jour

The Cabin Boy™ wants to keep flogging his dead horse story of non-existent plagiarism.

Fine. I hope he keeps it up. It has several benefits.

First, his foolishness provides an opportunity for pointage, laughery, and mockification by those who enjoy it.

Second, his time and energy spent ranting about me is time and energy that won’t be spent cyberstalking toddlers or cyberharassing the employers of his perceived enemies.

Third, over the past year or so, Bill Schmalfeldt and Breitbart Unmasked Bunny Billy Boy Unread have lost what little credibility and what few readers they once had. At this point, nothing they write or say has any clout. While I intend to hold them to account for their earlier troublemaking, what they do online now (with the exception of continuing breaches of the 2014 Settlement Agreement) is not likely to be worth the trouble of addressing with anything other than derision.

Fourth, … oh, you get the picture, Gentle Reader.

Dead Horse Du Jour

The Cabin Boy™ apparently doesn’t know The First Rule of Holes, i.e., when your in over your head, stop digging.fmp201701300030It’s been suggested to me that his continuing rant about plagiarism is a crackpot scheme aimed at creating a defense to the defamation claim in the lawsuit I’ve filed against him. The theory is that he’s trying to completely destroy his own credibility so that he can claim that since no one believes anything he says, his ravings can’t cause damage and, therefore, can’t be defamatory. I’m not sure I buy that. It’s too complicated even for one of the Cabin Boy’s™ harebrained schemes.

OTOH, it seems that even the Breitbart Unmasked Bunny Billy Boy Unread server doesn’t pay him any attention. Here’s where the link in his tweet goes—bu20170129

Do you have to make GS-14 in order to learn how to properly link to your own posts?

Dead Horse Du Jour

The Cabin Boy™ continues to flog a dead horse, a fake news story with no traction in the real world.fmp201701281503zGiven the trend in popcorn sales, it appears that the Gentle Readers are amused by Bill Schmalfeldt’s continued ranting which has been an excellent example of the principle that insanity is doing the same thing over again while expecting a different result. BTW, although that definition has been attributed to Benjamin Franklin, Albert Einstein, and others, the earliest example of it in print is probably in the Basic Text of Narcotics Anonymous, a connection that suggests the Cabin Boy™ may need to put down the bong.

Defamation Du Jour

In a marvelous example of his poor reading comprehension skills, the Cabin Boy™ has taken a post in which I refer to the gist of a summary of the recent Women’s March, noting that it is something I read and not my own, and has written a post at Breitbart Unmasked Bunny Billy Boy Unread accusing me of plagiarism.fmp201701242015z

My post states “the best summary was,” the use of the the past tense clearly indicating that I was reporting something I had read—as opposed to have possibly used the present tense (“the best summary is”), indicating my analysis. BTW, I read the bit about fat women out walking in several places and have no idea who said it first.

Given that the Cabin Boy™ has included a copy of the Hogewash! post in his article, clearly demonstrating that his accusation is recklessly false, it would be wise for Breitbart Unmasked Bunny Billy Boy Unread to take the post down and publish a retraction and apology. Of course, wisdom has never appeared to be one of the Cabin Boy’s™ long suits, but I will give him until 12 noon Eastern Time tomorrow to take down his defamatory post and publish a retraction and apology. If he does not, I will take appropriate action.

Fake But Inaccurate

Certain portions of the Main Stream Media are spun up over the non-existent proposal for a “Muslim registry.” This has to do with the suggestion that the Trump administration might reinstate something along the lines of the Bush-era requirement for adult male visitors from countries such as Saudi Arabia and North Korea to be interviewed and fingerprinted. (Muslim registry? I’ve met muslims from all around the world but never from North Korea.)

In a piece over at the NY Post site Rich Lowry notes that

That the so-called Muslim registry is now a thing, a subject of high dudgeon and hot debate, is testament to how the same media that complains about “fake news” is committed to manufacturing and driving its own narratives only loosely connected to reality.

Read the whole thing.

Prevarication Du Jour

Last year, Breitbart Unmasked Bunny Boy Unread falsely reported on what happened in the 13 March and 14 May hearings on the peace order petition that Brett Kimberlin filed against me. The accuracy of its reporting under its current retread editor is no better. Indeed, it may be worse.bu210610151234zIn fact, the court made no such finding.

Of course, if the current editor of Breitbart Unmasked Bunny Billy Boy Unread believes that he can prove that I have engaged in stalking of the Kimberlin family, he can try to make that part of his defense in Hoge v. Kimberlin, et al. However, before he wastes his time, he might want to consider that when The Dread Pro-Se Kimberlin attempted to sue me for stalking in Kimberlin v. Walker, et al., he lost on summary judgment. Also, when he has tried raise the issue in further lawsuits, he lost again. More to the point, when TDPK filed his failed 2015 peace order petition, he alleged stalking as one of the bases, but the judge who reviewed his petition struck the stalking allegation from the temporary order.
