One of the sleaziest activities was Bill Schmalfeldt’s cyberharassment. I was the first person to hold him accountable when was able to secure a peace order against him. Of course, he disobeyed that order, and I referred the matter to law enforcement and the courts. Ten years ago today I posted A Whiff of Obsession surrounding Schmalfeldt’s fixation on me.

Not the perfume. This post is about Bill Schmalfeldt’s demented fixation with me. Yesterday evening, I was the direct or indirect object of 70-odd tweets from the Cabin Boy. In the course of his rants he doubles (triples, quadruples, and more) down on his past misleading statements. I haven’t redacted any of his foul-mouthed words in the section below the fold.

What I write next is not meant to make fun of Bill Schmalfeldt. It is a serious question about his situation. Given his claim that the stress of his being held accountable for his actions is causing a rapid advance of the symptoms of his Parkinson’s Disease, I wonder if he is now experiencing the onset of Parkinson’s Disease Dementia? If that’s the case, it does not make his behavior more tolerable, but it should affect how the courts deal with him.

The nonsense is so pervasive that it would be much shorter to inventory the few things that are true.

When added with about 400 more, the provided the evidence for the court to extend the original peace order of an additional six months.

All told, Schmalfeldt collect a dozen or so restraining orders in five states, one of which protected a toddler.
