In Bill Schmalfeldt’s case, it vastly diminished his reach on the Interwebs. His defunct breitbitnews dot com site is still up and has a world site rating of 2,618,813 as of 9pm yesterday.
Meanwhile, the site where his keyboard drivelings are currently post as a world site rating of 19,987,320 as of 9pm yesterday.
Neither site has enough daily traffic to produce reliable statistics, but his current venue has even less than a defunct site.
