One of the pictures in the article is captioned, “Toni Bird holds an air horn, which Oakland Police suggested could scare away criminals and alert her neighbors.”

While I concur that a Mossberg 12-ga is at least as loud as an air horn, I prefer my Winchester 1200 Stainless Police.
