  1. “The Government” is just other people. We hope we install people into government who will do the will of the people, and hopefully do not use the tools of government to enrich themselves or place themselves into power over the people.

When we move control of our personal activities (medical care, education, business activity, etc.) into government managed services, we are giving control of our personal activities over to the people in government.

The possibility for governmental abuse increases with each activity we give to the government.

The worst ramifications of government control over peoples lives became apparent during the covid health scare:
    – Various activists and politicians exaggerated the need for control over the people.
    – Various activists and politicians intentionally misconstrued, withheld, or outright lied about existing scientific information.
    – Various activists and politicians demanded that government managed services be withheld from people who did not submit to government control (control by other people).
    – Various activists and politicians wanted to use the force of law to punish people who expressed opinions different from the activists and politicians.

The reality is that many political activists, especially socialists and communists, see government as a method to enforce control over people. These particular political activists, for unfathomable reasons, wish for a government composed of a few people to rule over the rest of the population. Do communists and socialists think a few people in government know what’s best for the rest of the population? Should the rest of the population be forced to do what those few people in government command?

Government is not an ethereal benevolent entity. It’s just other people, mostly looking out for themselves first, as most people do. So think twice before succumbing to the idea that “The Government” will take care of you. The “care” you receive from government probably won’t be the care you were looking for. Read Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn – it’s a true story, bro.

After “The Government” (other people) takes command of production and disbursement of all food and housing, don’t be surprised to hear the following:

“Do what we say, or you won’t get any food.”

“Do what we say, or you can sleep in the ditch.”
