A Busy Week in the Real World

Most of the time I’ve been awake this week, I’ve been working on preparation for or the actual testing of a major subassembly of the control system for a robot, and most of that work has been in the basement laboratory our team calls “the Dungeon.” Our lab isn’t there for any reason related to security; it’s simply the leftover space no one else would take. This afternoon, the widget passed the last test necessary to qualify it for integration into the system.

I haven’t had much time to blog this week, and my blogging will be sparse over the long weekend because I’ll be traveling to and from the Hoge family reunion. However, I hope to be able to pick up my blogging pace next week.
