Team Kimberlin Post of the Day

Brett Kimberlin’s authorized biography, Citizen K: The Deeply Weird American Journey Brett Kimberlin, was written by Mark Singer and published in 1996. Singer became interested in Kimberlin when he became infamous by claiming to have sold drugs to Dan Quayle. On page 29, Singer writes about the beginnings of his investigation of Kimberlin,

At that time, I did not seriously consider that the best reason not to broadcast this dude anecdote might be because the entire story was a lie.

By the time the Reader gets to page 389, he becomes as convinced as Mark Singer that Kimberlin is a liar and the Speedway Bomber.
