Zooming in on the Galactic Center

This video of the Milky Way starts with a photo that spans 71 degrees of the sky and ends on a photo taken by the Dark Energy Camera at the Cerro-Tololo Inter-American Observatory in Chile. The new image covers an 0.5 by 0.25 degree area about twice as wide as the full Moon and contains over 180,000 stars.
