The Gentle Reader may remember that Brett Kimberlin has a second appeal pending before the Seventh Circuit attempting to have some of his Speedway Bombing convictions overturned. He asked the court to provide him with a freebee lawyer to handle oral argument in the case. Last month, the court put the case on hold while it considered Kimberlin’s request.

They court has decided to deny the request.

Kimberlin’s brief is due at the end of February, and the DoJ’s reply is due in late March.
