Bill Schmalfeldt is no longer listed as a member of the staff at KCHI’s website.
He has indeed. Per his Facebook page, another flare up of Fakinson’s led him to retire (it appears legitimate this time) and relocate back to Myrtle Beach to sponge off the in-laws again. Also there’s a new blog where he’s taking thinly veiled potshots at the local radio show that employed him for about a week before it went sideways because he couldn’t keep his chomphole shut.

In case of confusion, it’s the retirement that appears to be legit, not the Fakinson’s.
