A Galaxy on Edge

It’s hard to tell what sort of galaxy NGC 4452 is because we see it almost exactly on edge, but its lack of dust lanes suggest that it is a lenticular galaxy. OTOH, it could be a spiral galaxy. We really can’t tell. All we see is a thin line about 35,000 light-years long with a slight bulge in the middle.
