Past Performance Does Not Guarantee Future Results, …

… but it may be the way to bet.

In 1960, the Democrats only needed to steal one state, Illinois, to defeat Nixon. The didn’t succeed in Florida in 2000 because of poor preparation. They were better prepared this year, but the need to steal in so many states may have overtaxed them.

There are several ways the presidential election can play out to the two possible endings. All of them are ugly. Other that those who might be a eyewitness to actual fraud or who might be directly involved in litigation, there’s not much the rest of us can do except calmly wait for the process to grind through.

Trump may yet win through recounts and litigation. If he does, we will have four more years of “resistance” from the Democrats, the media, big tech, and the Deep State.

Biden’s supporters may carry him over the finish line. If he wins, we will still face another four years of a disputed presidency, but this time, The Steal Dossier™ will have actual evidence in it.

In either case, past performance suggests that America will find a way to muddle through. That’s the way I’m betting.

  1. I think regardless of who emerges as the former next President of the USA, the Bolsheviks are going to continue riots in the streets. If Trump prevails, the violence will be wide-spread. Should Biden succeed in cheating, the violence will be more selective. But if Biden wins, they will continue rioting because Biden’s win will demonstrate political violence is a viable option in 21st century America.

  2. The magic date for biden if he wins is 01/21/2023.

    22nd Amendment

No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of President more than once.

  3. “we will have four more years of “resistance” from the Democrats”
We would have had this if Pres. Trump was elected in a landslide. I suspect the only difference may be the intensity.
