The usual precinct voting centers in Maryland have been shutdown because of the Wuhan Virus Pandemic. Multiple voting centers have been set up in each county, and a voter can use any center in his county to vote in person on election day. I chose to vote at the Pleasant Valley Fire Company because it is the most rural voting location in the county, and I expected it would have the shortest line. I arrived a few minutes before the polls opened at 7 am, and there were over a hundred people in line ahead of me. I inserted my paper ballot into the scanner at 7:38 am.
