Today, we’re taking a where-are-they-now look back at the original members of Team Kimberlin. Wie’ll start with this TKPOTD from seven years ago today. It is a update of a previous post and the updates are contained in brackets.

Yesterday, I explained the origin of the title The Dread Pirate Kimberlin. Here’s a repost of the original listing of his crew from last November—Brett Kimberlin’s Ship of Fools. Note that the relative importance of some characters has changed.
The Dread Pirate Kimberlin—(AKA Brett Kimberlin, The Speedway Bomber, John Doe 1, Breitbart Unmasked) A Director of and sole full-time employee of Justice Through Music Project and unpaid employee of Velvet Revolution US. Convicted felon with a rap sheet too long for this space. Apparently not a registered voter. [A correction about Kimberlin’s status as a registered voter was published after he doxed himself in a court filing and I was able to determine his date of birth. I regret the original error.]
First Mate Neal Rauhauser—Tragically-failed wind-powered ammonia plant entrepreneur. Hacker wannabe. Democratic Party operative. Deadbeat dad. [And he may already be a Weiner.]
Crew Member Ron Brynaert—Erstwhile reporter. Possible SWATting suspect. Potential mutineer.
Cabin Boy Bill Schmalfeldt—(AKA Liberal Grouch) Minor, if somewhat grandiose, Twitter troll and selective blogger of sealed court papers. [Recently promoted to major nuisance.]
Imaginary Friend Occupy Rebellion—(AKA Sheridan) Twitter sock puppet.
Jeffrey R. Cohen, Esq.—Intellectual property lawyer and Executive Director of JTMP and VRUS. His signature is on their IRS Form 990s.
Brad Friedman—A Director of Velvet Revolution US.
Myra Lowenthal, CPA—Accountant who prepared the IRS Form 990s for JTMP and VRUS.
Assorted fanboys, wannabes, third- and fourth-rate musicians, trolls, useful idiots, and fools.

Taking the list in reverse order—
Myra Lowenthal, CPA—Ms. Lowenthal signed the last Justice Through Music Project IRS 990 that is available online. However, it’s from 2017. The 2018 filing should have available at the IRS site by now, but it isn’t. There’s no indication of whether that has been caused by pandemic related work issues or a failure to timely file.
Brad Friedman—There is no indication that Friedman has been connected with Velvet Revolution since its name was change to Protect Our Elections/EMPR Inc. Friedman apparently still has a talk show on KPFK, one of the lowest rated, if not the lowest rated, radio station in the LA market.
Jeffrey R. Cohen, Esq.—There is no indication that Cohen has had any connection with any of the Kimberlin enterprises since 2017.
Cabin Boy Bill Schmalfeldt—Schmalfeldt left Breitbart Unmasked in December, 2018, and appears to have tried to stay clear of Kimberlin ever since.
Crew Member Ron Brynaert—Brynaert was one of the first to jump ship. He’s been gone for years.
First Mate Neal Rauhauser—In spite of his fugitive status, Rauhauser pops up from time-to-time with another of his failed schemes. His Texas litigation failed to produce the million dollar sanction award he’d hoped for.
Dread Deadbeat Pirate Kimberlin—keeping a low profile for now, but not out of business yet.
