Team Kimberlin Post of the Day

One of the problems experienced by the adverse parties to The Dread Deadbeat Pro-Se Kimberlin has been effecting service of court papers on him. He claims to be living at his mother’s address, but has not been found there for several years. He has been found at his workplace. It was six years ago today that I published this post asking Where Does Dread Pirate #BrettKimberlin Work?

The address shown on the IRS filings for TDPK’s “charities,” Justice Through Music Project and Velvet Revolution US is the address of the Kimberlin residence in Bethesda, Maryland. Various court filings, articles, and blog posts (including posts here at Hogewash!) have said that he operates out of his mother’s basement, and TDPK has never contradicted that.

However, look at this excerpt of the cross examination of Brett Kimberlin by Reginald Bours, Aaron Walker’s lawyer, from the transcript of the 11 April, 2012, Kimberlin v. Walker peace order trial.

Q: Do you go to an office or place of work every day?

A: Yes.

Q: Where is that?

A: It’s in Cabin John, Maryland.

Cabin John, Maryland? Let’s see. Googling “brett kimberlin cabin john” turns up a street address in Cabin John, Maryland, for Brett Kimberlin, and research on that street address turns up some interesting information. The Google Street View image shows something like a small bungalow. Running the address through Zillow and county tax records shows that it is owned by a person who is on the board of one of the foundations that has been a long time supporter of Justice Through Music Project. It is also the legal address for that person recorded in the Maryland state data base for political contributions. Oh, and that person has an interest in many of the environmentalist wacko causes JTMP is now supporting.

It turns out that the woman who has been providing that support to TDPK also spent five years working in the Clinton White House on environmental issues.

Interesting connections …

  1. When it comes to naming organizations, businesses, and charities, every day is opposites day on the left.
