The Parker Solar Probe is inbound for its rendezvous with the Sun. On 25 September, it took a look back at the Earth with its wide-field image and snapped this picture. The bulge on the right isn’t part of the Earth. It’s the Moon.

Just curious if you had a role with any of the instruments on board.
Nope. I’ve been working on an instrument that makes IR spectrum measurements from orbit which are used to figure out soil moisture levels.
I’m hope the next project will another astronomy mission.
