I remember feeling ripped off when I had to pay $8.95 for a college text book 50 years ago. My son is taking a couple of programming courses to improve his skills, and the list prices of his textbooks were more like 20 to 25X what I used to pay. He was able to save a ton of money getting used books from Amazon.
