Five years ago, I posted a series of TKPOTDs that dealt with an Internet business called globalpharma dot biz. This post ran five years ago today.

globalpharma dot biz offered to sell me Tranax without a prescription. Tranax is a trade name for the anti-anxiety drug alprazolam (aka Xanax). There is a substantial risk of abuse and dependence in both patients and non-medical users of alprazolam. Its pharmacological properties, such being short-acting and having a rapid onset of action as well as high affinity binding and high potency, increase the potential for abuse. The physical dependence and withdrawal syndrome of alprazolam also adds to the addictive nature of the drug. The DEA places it on Schedule IV.
Note that the name of the drug is misspelled. It has been for months. I suspect that a legitimate pharmacy would have corrected such an error.
globalpharma dot biz operates on the same Holland-based server as several Kimberlin-related sites and uses unmaskedhosting dot com as its name server. It’s been reported that for a brief period on 17 August, connections to globalpharma dot biz were being redirected to breitbartunmasked dot com.

Yes, it’s likely that a legitimate pharmacy would have done several things differently.

Didn’t DUMBFUCK take Tranax for while when he was in Japan, or am I confused in some details?
Tr… Tra… Tran…
Nope. Nothing comes to mind. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
