Last Year’s Solar Eclipse

There was a solar eclipse over the Pacific Ocean last year. This time lapse video was made with images taken by the Japanese Himawari-8 satellite looking down from geosynchronous orbit. The dark spot is the Moon’s shadow.

  1. That’s fake. The Earth is a giant pancake. The South Pole doesn’t exist. If it did exist, it would be a whole lotta miles outside the Ice Wall that all the navies in the world have kept us regular people away from. It’s the only thing all the countries in the world have agreed to: keeping us away from the Ice Wall so we don’t know we live on a pancake. But they didn’t succeed. We know we’re on a pancake. We’re just waiting for the interstellar syrup bottle to cover us in sticky, sweet goo.
