Team Kimberlin Post of the Day

Service of legal papers on a corporation is made either on certain officers (such as the president or secretary) or on its resident agent. As of close of business last Friday, this was the listing for the resident agent for Justice Through Music Project—However, when a package was sent by Certified Mail to JTMP containing papers related to the Hoge v. Kimberlin, et al. lawsuit, the package was refused.Hmmmm.

  1. The IRS should maybe drop by–8416 Westmont Terrace, Bethesda MD–an ask to see their records.

  3. USPS change of address is only good for 1 year and since the house was sold/recorded on July 7 2015, I think we can safely assume it’s expired. The “no longer at address” note is likely from the mail carrier.

If one does a search on “jeffrey r cohen, esq bethesda ma” there are several hits with the same old address…

You would think a lawyer would have updated their address by now…

  4. When did the administrative suspension of Cohen’s Maryland law license kick in? I don’t remember that being an issue before, but maybe it was.

  5. Are the Maryland similar to the FRCP where a lawyer who is a corporate officer can not represent the corporation in court?
