I think most people would be ecstatic to be in a position to pay 1% of that tax bill.
so long as one’s assets were significantly more than $38 million. If you were worth a solid $50,000 and met with that bill, you might start wishing the shock caused a heart attack if it somehow didn’t.
That is what I meant. If I had the income to justify a $380K tax bill, well, that’s a lot of income!
