This appeared on the Hoge v. Kimberlin, et al. case docket last week—It turns out that this wasn’t an answer to the complaint. It was the Cabin Boy’s™ reply to my opposition to his request to appear by telephone during the upcoming motions hearing.
For those Gentle Readers who are just catching up, this reply is moot because Judge Hecker denied Schmalfeldt’s request to appear by telephone. However, the Cabin Boy™ will be permitted to appear by video conferencing if he can figure out how to do so in compliance with the court’s order.
When I checked late Monday evening, all the cheap seats for a Milwaukee/Baltimore round trip were sold out on American Airlines, but there were still a few left on Southwest.
