Hillary’s Killer Rabbit?

James Taranto has a post up at WSJ titled Regression to the Meme: Mrs. Clinton Takes on a Cartoon Frog about Pepe the Frog.

Hillary Clinton’s campaign has published a parody of Vox, the liberal news site for young adults. Headline: “Donald Trump, Pepe the Frog, and White Supremacists: An Explainer.” Subheadline: “That cartoon frog is more sinister than you might realize.”

Poor Pepe! He’s just a make-believe frog, and he stands falsely accused of being “racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic—you name it.”

  1. Now THAT’S trolltastic.

And no news to anyone who has known of Pepe for a couple of years.

Sorry Baby Boomers, you aren’t cool any longer, and you don’t “get it”. The millenials are running the show. You’re Lawrence Welk; they’re the Beatles. You’ve become your parents. Without having saved the free world. (Note: Refers to a group, not to individuals. If this doesn’t refer to you, remember that butthurt is not a tort.)

  2. Saul Alinsky stressed the importance of always having a villain. What better villain that a cartoon frog? Vilify Milo Yiannopoulos and you have your lies shredded articulately by your target. Attack a cartoon frog, and no one can fight back. It just so happens that it was revealed to be a conscious act of trolling. Attacks on a cartoon frog are essentially non-falsifiable. It is merely an accident that the burden of proof happened to shift back to Pepe’s accusers.

The bottom line ought to be that this is yet another example of a bunch of liars being caught lying. Instead, those lying about Pepe the Frog will posture as if they are the victims, and, blithefully, move on to their next victim.
