Pisces A & B

Pisces A & BThe Hubble Space Telescope has captured the glow of new stars in these small, ancient galaxies, Pisces A and Pisces B. The dwarf galaxies have lived in isolation for billions of years and have just begun to make stars in the last few hundred million years.

  1. If they have just begun (cosmically speaking) to make stars, then were they really galaxies? Wouldn’t they just be giant clouds of gas & dust?

3 satellites, 1 airplane, and maybe 9 Perseids. Bad viewing though, at best a 3 1/2 Pleiades night.
