I would prefer to invent a non-profit to pay me to do stuff I want to do anyway.
And the beauty of such a non-profit (when you have financial assets overseas that you don’t want the IRS or FBI or DEA or anyone else to know about) is that you don’t have to pay taxes when repatriating the funds or explain how those assets were accumulated in the first place.
