Team Kimberlin Post of the Day

Given the recent news from Oregon, I thought it would be a good idea to recycle this post from 27 June, 2013. The original nrawatch dot org site is now defunct

* * * * *

Part of Brett Kimberlin’s personal puffery is his claim to have circulated lots of petitions that have received lots and lots of signatures.

Uh, huh.

On 6 May, 2013, one of Velvet Revolution US’s subsidiary efforts called NRA Watch (No, I won’t link to it) posted this link to a petition. (Note: The link in the image below isn’t live.)nrawatchPetition1

If the link were live, clicking on it would show you this.nrawatchPetition2

nrawatchPetition3The petition isn’t doing so well. As of 3 pm yesterday, it only had 15 signatures. That’s fewer than one for every three days that the petition has been up at Change dot org. Of course, Brett Kimberlin didn’t post this petition himself. He delegated the work to Cabin Boy Bill Schmalfeldt who has a track record of getting things started only to abandon them. If Kimberlin were serious, he should have picked someone with some stick-to-it-iveness.

Say, here’s another interesting thing to note. The Cabin Boy gives the impression with his petition that he thinks firearms are something to be taken seriously.GE

Yeah. Right.

  1. Guns aren’t marketed to kids, because KIDS CAN’T LEGALY BUY THEM. And it’s not like some kid is going to slip a guy a $20 or use a fake ID to buy an AR-15 like it’s a six pack of Bud.

    • Over on Twitter, Bill seems to be claiming that the reason he took the picture is being left off so it’s out of context.

I’m not sure what context makes it OK to be pointing a gun at who-knows-what with your finger on the trigger unless you are planning on shooting that particular who-knows-what. Maybe he’ll claim it was unloaded, but there are a lot of people who have shot themselves or other with guns they knew were unloaded.

      • Whereas with the photo of WJJHIV you can clearly see that the magazine is not inserted in the butt of the weapon (and wouldn’t DUMBFUCK be THRILLED if he could say “inserted in the butt” in any context?), the gentleman is clearing in the act of cleaning the gun (was gonna say “polishing his weapon” but DUMBFUCK would just go all gooey over that too), his finger is NOT in the trigger guard, and you can also see the red dot which indicates the safety is ENGAGED.

None of these things can be deduced from DUMBFUCK preparing to blast kiddies playing in the street outside the tincasa.

        • The slide is removed from the frame. The barrel is removed from the slide. The guide rod and recoil spring are removed from the slide. The pistol is completely field stripped.

        • The kiddies were in no danger. Their parents warned them LONG ago about the creepy man with a fixation on anally raping young boys that lived in the Tincasa down the lane. They wouldn’t go near the place.

        • @Mr. Hoge: Exactly. In my opinion, the parts in the photo of 4s hands; are just that, parts. They are no more effective as a weapon than a medium sized rock; albeit considerably more valuable unless the rock were a group IB or IIB metal ore.

  2. Rumor has it that someone, or something, is working on a massive offshore blog that memorlializes the internet history of a certain cyberstalking pervert who is fixated on anal rape and cub scouts.

    Or so I hear.

    Rumors are rumors.

    • I remember the rumor of John Edwards having a love child. I remember the rumor of Pres. Clinton having an affair with an intern.

Those turned out not to be true either.
