  1. While intriguing…this comment was made on a Lumia device…

Windows Phone 8 is okay but I am waiting for a commercially available Ubuntu Touch service to enter the market in the USA. ________________________________

    • Heh. I’ve been running Windows 10 (formerly known as Windows 9 Beta) for over a year on this machine. Build 10041 looks to be a real winner once they added support and drivers for Realtek devices a couple of days ago. Faster and more usable than either 8 or 8.1, it incorporates the Windows 7 desktop and live tiles only in the start menu, which is a combination of the classic start menu and live tiles. The tablet version runs well too on my tablet but I don’t have a Windows phone to test the phone beta. The Tablet OS runs better than the latest Android 4.4 KitKat and runs all Windows apps.

  2. Home star runner had an excellent April fools day joke today, if you are in the mood to return to the early aughts
