Team Kimberlin Post of the Day

It seems as if every time either The Dread Pro-Se Kimberlin or The Dreadful Pro-Se Schmalfeldt files a lawsuit, they include a claim for intentional infliction of emotional distress. None of those claims have been successful, and I seriously doubt that the claims in their current LOLsuits will do any better.

The Cabin Boy™ has got access to a copy of the Maryland Tort Law Handbook and has managed to misread the section on intentional infliction of emotional distress, causing him to believe he has a winning case.

PreparationH96ctI doubt it. I expect that the Circuit Court for Howard County will rely on the same case law that Judge McGann used to throw out TDPK’s claims in the Kimberlin v. Walker, et al. nuisance lawsuit. If the court does, TDPS’s claim is toast. As several commenters have pointed out, butthurt is not a cause of action.

  1. Twitter Attorney Smellfart parody question of the week #8:

“Have any of my legal predictions come true?”

    a) No, but… Look! A squirrel!
    b) They will after I rewrite all the laws.
    c) Predictions, schmictions, I hate you.
    d) My predictions aren’t meant to come true, they’re meant to intimidate Brett’s enemies. If my endless string of lies costs me my sterling reputation then so be it. What’s important is that a sociopathic convicted bomber, forger and perjurer considers me his friend. Lord only knows what would happen if he didn’t.

    • True. But, Jane, let us also remember to pray for the pitiful mess of a creature of God that BS has become. I’m sure the Padre will get my back, but there’s always time for redemption and reconciliation; all that’s required is that he repent in his heart.

Apologies to those he has harassed wouldn’t hurt either.

      • Oh, but isn’t he the better Christian? At least that’s what the Blob keeps insinuating over and over and over again by saying that others aren’t being Christian. He just knows so many things that aren’t so, this being one of them. Sigh.

      • Gus, I have prayed for him and his family, but just can’t bring myself to do so anymore. It’s been quite a while, and unless something changes, isn’t likely to happen again.

      • Remember, Jane; in much the same way the military salutes the officer, not the man, we pray for God’s child, not what he’s done with his opportunities.

      • I’m kinda with agile on this one. BS has had many chances to turn away from this path.

Part of redemption and reconciliation requires that you acknowledge fault in your actions, and I don’t think he can do that.

If Bill says it’s true, …..

  3. Its almost as if the law in the United States actually allowed people the freedom of speech to describe the reprehensible and criminal conduct of others in public …
