IBM — always ready to take a cut of a cash cow.
Sounds like a bad deal for Apple, though. They’re hitching themselves to slower hardware replacement schedules and bulk pricing for little gain. Perhaps the Jobs magic really is gone, and conventional business “thought” has taken over?
