  1. “I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve.”

Attributed to Japanese Admiral Yamamoto following the successful attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941 in the movie Tora, Tora, Tora, however no written evidence exists that he actually ever said this. Clearly BK and his cabal have never considered this, but they should!

The Battle of the Schmalfeldt is clearly comparable to the rematch of Yamaoto vs. the United States in the Battle of Midway which Yamamoto lost conclusively. Now the Elkridge Horror is nothing more than a slimy footnote in the annals of history. His epitaph has already taken effect as time moves on – “Bill who?”

However, now the remainder of BK’s pirate crew await the same allegorical grisly fiery end as did the residents of those two unfortunate Japanese cities just prior to the end of World War II. The sad thing about BK is that he will be free to continue his courtroom follies on our dime once he’s back behind federal bars although he initially may be a little sun-burned.
