Team Kimberlin Post of the Day

The Dread Pro-Se Kimberlin has been having trouble with Certified Mail green cards. Many of the copies of them he has filed as exhibits with various court pleadings are inconsistent with the Post Office receipts for payment. Some seem to have the Restricted Delivery box checked when that fee was not paid.

Some but not all.

The copies he filed before the need for Restricted Delivery was brought to his attention don’t have that box checked. (Even though later copies of the same cards do!) For example, these copies were filed as part of Exhibit E in his report to Judge Grimm about service of process.ECF 27-E1ECF 27-E2ECF 27-E3ECF 27-E4ECF 27-E5Hmmmmm.

  1. Maybe I’m missing something. Card 1, 4 and 5 are also missing the type of service delivery (Section 3). Is it assumed to be certified or registered? Just seems a little odd that Ace of Spades, Blogger club and McCain wouldn’t have something checked, or perhaps these were modified later?

  2. Count your blessings: the serial forgeries aren’t as bad as serial bombing. Plus he didn’t have his drug smuggling colleague shoot anyone’s grandma over it. Brett Kimberlin maybe is getting nicer over time and at this rate, one day he’ll be a jolly warm-hearted guy.

  3. I would guess that this information was filed with Judge Grimm before it was published here. Or at least leave has been asked to present it.

And yet, crickets. How long has it been since the show cause hearing?

Every day that this farce goes on leaves the defendants in limbo. Not actually in limbo, it leaves them as defendants. And having to spend money merely to point out the farce.

I have been a noted pessimist on this. Because it brings to mind this from Atlas Shrugged: “Whenever you think you are facing a contradiction, check your premises.”

  4. I don’t know the ins and outs of the USPS but can you even “restricted delivery” to a Nome de plume?
How would the post office even verify the person receiving is the restricted recipient?
It’d be like sending something restricted delivery to “Current Resident.” (That’s not even completely analogous, because “current resident” could be verified. But the idea is so absurd it’s the best I could come up with.)

  5. Lemme get this straight. Assuming that these 5 cards were later doctored, and we know of at least one other which was doctored (and admitted to) plus the Twitchy subpeona which was forged…there are 7 major frauds upon the court. Hoge said “many” so maybe there are more. Can we please get this thing tossed, your honor?
