Thanks for the Links

A significant number of page views here at Hogewash! come from outside links. I’d like to thank those sites that have sent viewers this way during the past week. In addition to hits from search engines, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook, Hogewash! has had visitors linked from:

The Other McCain
Allergic to Bull
Saber Point
The Daley Gator
Conservative Hideout 2.0
Lee Stranahan
The Camp of the Saints
Raging Against the Rhetoric
Batshit Crazy News
Evi L Bloggerlady

Thank you for those links, fellow bloggers, and thank you to everyone used them.

I also had some hits on the site referred from myvirpus.com/vnetadmin/supporttickets.php?action=viewticket&id=123552. That’s a link related to a support ticket from the server farm that supports IP address 50.115.175.148.

Hmmmm.

  1. Probably a request to the ISP support group from Team Kimberlin to block access from this site.

That’ll be effective, as Team Lickspittle has no access to any other computers, at all.

    • I think it’s more likely a support analyst working on a request for info on the originating IP address of the proxy connection to a certain node on a particular date.

I’d be concerned if I had ever used that node for anything I wanted to keep secret. Focus!

      • And someone certain seems to be upset by that. Not that anyone mentioned him, but he seems to have taken it personally. Scared? Maybe he good friend Neal gave him some bad info in his “How to stay anonymous” paper.

      • That’s possible. Since a certain resident of a trailer in MD has been perturbed by that, in my opinion, possibly is indicative of a guilty conscience or at least a nagging doubt of ethics. It depends on how vociferously he protests. The more frequent and loud the protestation, the greater the possibility of guilty knowledge.
At least in my experience judging the veracity of potential marks and law enforcement.

  2. That downding was my blasted phone. Again. I should know by now that I stand a very good chance of fat-fingering fiddly stuff on this screen, and I am sorry.

Please count it as an upding, instead.
