Exoplanets in M67

Astronomers have used ESO’s HARPS planet hunter in Chile to discover three planets orbiting stars in the cluster Messier 67. Although more than one thousand planets outside the Solar System are now confirmed, only a few have been found in star clusters. Remarkably one of these new exoplanets is orbiting a star that is a rare solar twin—a star that is almost identical to the Sun.

  1. A really dumb website: http://www.fixedearth.com. This website advocates young-earth creationism, geocentrism, and a literal firmament. According to this website, stars are just reflections from water crystals embedded in the firmament. Apparently the people who created this website never heard of spectroscopy. The website also claims that exoplanets are a hoax, and the Big Bang is a hoax too. All of these ideas are the work of Jewish Kabbalists. Maybe there should be a list of How Crazy Can You Get websites.

P.S. Now that Fred Phelps is dead maybe his websites (God hates {fags, Jews, America, the world}) will dissappear. Remember the epitath I wrote for him:

A crazy preacher named Fred Had a big hole in his head He thought it was great To spread around hate Now look where that got him–he’s DEAD!
