  1. How … odd. BS joined the society of professional journalists, which anyone can do – there is no such thing as them “accepting” your application. He immediately violates their code of ethics by referring to unadjudicated defames as “The Defamatory Five.”. His allvoices posts also violate the code of ethics.

    • Ah, he has now uploaded tons of articles to digital journal, and BACKDATED HIS START DATE TO JANUARY 2012. He also gives liberal grouch as his web site. Now why, oh why, would he backdate his profile? Hm? Ya know, proffering falsified documentation to the court is a very, very bad idea.

      • There appear to be two separate profiles for him on DJ. The aforementioned one from 2012, and the new one from 2013. It’s like he made bigs all over the Internet!

    • So he is crying about not being able to feed his wife, yet he spends a ton on multiple websites and domain hosting, now he tosses $75 bucks to a journalist association that even I could join.

He would rather let his wife go hungry than give up his quest to be relevant. LOOK AT MEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

  2. Hmmm….broccoli always reminds me of what President Bush 41 said “I do not like broccoli. And I haven’t liked it since I was a little kid and my mother made me eat it. And I’m President of the United States and I’m not going to eat any more broccoli.”

  3. Was he booted from this site, previously? But if the below is correct, his tenure there is likely to be of short duration.

    “You May Not…
Make personal attacks or use derogatory names directed at any individual member, race, ethnicity or religion (this includes both comments and user contacts through the site). Users are not permitted to personally attack others. While we encourage debate on all topics including crime, politics, religion and science, users will not be permitted to make foul remarks, or single out an individual member, race or religion with derogatory or racist comments. Debate should focus on the topic, but when it becomes a personal attack on someone’s beliefs or character, Digital Journal moderators will intervene and act accordingly. You are free to debate issues in a civilized fashion.
    Consequences
If any Citizen or Digital Journalist breaks any of the above rules, his/her account may be suspended for one week, and he/she will be blocked from signing in, voting or making comments. Digital Journalists who break the rules may have their writing status revoked on first offence, depending on the severity of the issue.
If any Citizen or Digital Journalist breaks the rules a second time, his/her account may be deleted.”

  4. Looks like he has a history there. He has profiles under the names

    Bill Schmalfeldt
    Billsoldname Schmalfeldt
    W. Matthew Schmalfeldt
    William M. Schmalfeldt

    Wonder why so many

  5. Plus, he’s deceptive right out of the gate, stating that he is a member of the SPJ, but failing to mention that was effective today and not when WJJH got the PO. Interestingly, that post has also disappeared.

  6. Can anyone else access his op-ed (“Can a journalist…”) I was able to see it briefly, then “no longer available”. Not sure what’s going on.

The content was Bill’s standard fantasy land, lie-packed version of his PO saga, btw.

I may have just answered my own question.
