Dread Pirate #BrettKimberlin and Perjury

Multiple complaints have filed with the State’s Attorney in Montgomery County, Maryland, alleging incidents of perjury by TDPK. So far, the disposition on all of these complaints has been nolle prosequi (that’s legal Latin for unwilling to prosecute). I found it interesting that the State’s Attorney wouldn’t be willing to deal with what appeared to be prima facie cases of perjury, so I sent the following letter to John McCarthy asking for clarification of the prosecutor’s reasoning.

I’ve had no response as yet. I’m a bit puzzled by the non-response. If I were an elected official, I would want to take control of the public discussion about how I handled the non-prosecution of alleged criminal activity by a convicted domestic terrorist. Perhaps, Mr. McCarthy believes that questions from a bush league blog such as Hogewash! are too inconsequential to require attention.

Over the next few days, we’ll review the facts surrounding the various perjury complaints that have been filed in Montgomery County.

  1. Fantastic letter. I think one month is enough time to at least acknowledge the letter. Your question should have weight as you are an actual constituent of Mr. McCarthy.

I really look forward to reading his reply if he ever does.

  2. Two thoughts here:

First, I want to thank you for your unflagging doggedness of the DPBK story. You’ve quoted from the “Citizen K” book frequently enough that it made me want to read it myself, so I asked for (and got) the book for Christmas. Fascinating read; honestly one of the best books I’ve read in years. Everyone should read this book as an object lesson of just how a manipulative, amoral serial liar can tie up the courts and try to ruin others’ lives when the government lies doewn and lets him.

Perhaps January should be “Everyone Read About Brett Kimberlin” month and have us all order the book . . . ?

Secondly, I’ve copies in large part your letter and sent my own inquiry to the State’s Attorney in Montgomery County, Maryland. I’m certainly not advocating EVERYONE do this as well, just those so inclined who want to know why he’s sitting around on his dusty butt waiting for justice to fall, like rain, freely from the heavens.

Again, Thanks to you, Mr. Hoge. And Happy Belated Birthday as well.

  3. I would draw the parallels between Nicole Simpson and Julia Schyphers. I would then ask if is it not unofficial public policy to prosecute their killers to the full extent of the law whenever possible?

  4. It’s time to admit Kimberlin is being protected by someone with political clout.

As to why, I leave that as an exercise for the reader.

    • I am wondering if there are ties between Kimberlin and Obama. After all, Kimberlin’s organization is funded by Soros, and we all know that Soros has Obama’s ear (if not vice versa) so who is to say there might not be some dealings there?

  5. Does Maryland have a Freedom of Information act? If so, a request could be made to provide any emails regarding the decision not to prosecute the complaints agains TDPK.

I also don’t know if that information would be obtainable under a FOIA request.
