Sunday, someone unsuccessfully tried to have Brett Kimberlin’s Wikipedia article deleted. Monday, the three websites associated with him disappeared. Brietbart Unmasked, Velveeta Revolution, and Injustice Thru Muzak are all kaput.
While that’s three colossal wastes of bandwidth eliminated, one wonders what he is trying to hide from discovery.
UPDATE–At 7:20 am ET on Tuesday, 21 August, the websites were back up, although the Velveeta Revolution site isn’t rendering properly and the pages are tagged “403 Access Forbidden.”
UPDATE 2—Looking at the dump on the Velveeta Revolution site, it appears that it is hosted on a Windows server which would, of course, be less secure than *nix-based hosting. Perhaps the sites were simply the victims of a hack.
