Bread and circuses! Rep. Chaka Fattah (D-PA) feels that the Democrats have a lock on the moocher vote. He says that the unemployed will vote D in order to keep their benefits coming.
Is this why the Democrats are holding to policies that slow down the recovery?

UPDATE–NPR takes up the cause of slow growth being a good thing. (H/T, Hot Air) Their expert doesn’t seem to understand the difference between the fake growth of an asset bubble (e.g., housing in America a few years ago or tulips centuries ago in Holland) and the real growth resulting from productive economic activity.
