Oliver Willis seems upset because some media are giving good coverage to the Romney/Ryan campaign. The real burr under his saddle is the fact that the Republicans are achieving some measure of control of the campaign narrative, and that’s simply politically incorrect.
Stacy McCain has a post taking Mr. Willis to the wood shed for his nonsense. The Other McCain makes his penultimate point thusly:
What you seem to be asserting, Oliver Willis, is either:
A. Everything that Republicans say is false.
or
B. There is no such thing as objective truth, only whatever “truth” serves a particular political purpose.
This only part of Mr. McCain’s post with which I would quibble. I don’t think it’s either/or for Mr. Willis; I suspect that it’s both/and.
