Brett Kimberlin filed a criminal complaint against someone from Florida name Martin Maher for telephone harassment. The Montgomery County State’s Attorney is refusing to prosecute. This explains why no warrant was issued when the original court date came and went without Mr. Maher showing up in court. Aaron Walker has some commentary.
This is the second time that I know of that the State’s Attorney has gone nolle prosequi (that’s legal Latin for declining to prosecute) on a Brett Kimberlin complaint. The other was the bogus assault charge against Aaron Walker.
Given Mr. Kimberlin’s track record of bringing bogus criminal complaints and making specious Peace Order filings, I’m not surprised that the prosecutors are finding more important cases to keep themselves busy.
