It Isn’t Easy Being Green

One of the things I try to explain to my eco-friendly friends is the significant amount of very nasty stuff that goes into the production of their favored products. Take solar panels as an example. Solyndra is leaving more than a financial mess behind. Lead is but one of the contaminants left in their abandoned buildings.

While most of my “progressive” friend haven’t given up on the green scams yet, a new Rasmussen poll indicates that the public at large is beginning to turn its back on trickle-down environmentalism. Ed Morrissey has a post on the poll. When you read it, scroll down to the Ramirez cartoon which is an accurate representation of our present electric car technology.
